For $2.10 we're able to change our departure date and city. We'll depart on a Boeing 777 from Pudong Shanghai Tuesday at 10:00am on Delta flight 180, arriving Detroit at 12:20pm. We'll depart Detroit on Delta flight 1476 at 1:40pm, arriving Minneapolis at 2:42pm.

 

Our original schedule was to depart from Singapore on April 16th.

Inside view of the high speed train. It took 30 minutes to go from Wuxi to Shanghai, cruising at just over 200 mph. The 70 mile trip by car would take a good 2 to 2 1/2 hours. I would highly recommend taking the train, it's fast and reasonable.

At the Shanghai Brewery. We could actually see blue Sky. A few years ago it would have been a brown haze.

I can post to my blog one of two ways- 1)email a post from my gmail account or 2)remotely log into my server back home and then log into Blogger. We take things for granted in the USA!

I'm staying at the Garden Hotel in Suzhou. This is a Chinese owned and operated hotel, which makes things a little bit of a challenge. It is somewhat difficult to communicate, but not impossible. It is an interesting change and experience from staying at a western hotel. The rooms are fine, free high speed internet, breakfast in the morning, nice gardens.

Ashley could get a job at this McDonalds in the Kuala Lumpur airport. But you will only be able to serve sausage McMuffins made of chicken. You won't find any pork here.

Arrived Tokyo at 5:08pm Sunday afternoon. My flight to Singapore departs at 6:50pm.
